December 2008
The CIA (Chemical Industries Association) Annual Dinner, one of the largest events in the sector, took place on 20th November 2008. Maxsys proudly sponsored the event – and a contingent of employees saw firsthand what a success it was.
Grosvenor House on Park Lane, London hosted some 1,500 diners, including senior representatives of chemical companies and leading figures from the City, industry and commerce, government, academia and the news media. Key speakers included Alan Duncan MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, and BBC broadcaster, Garry Richardson.
Maxsys has a solid history of collaboration with the chemical industry. It worked with global resin manufacturer, Cray valley, in order to help the company cut annual fuel consumption at its Sallingborough site. Installation of the Maxsys Fuel Systems not only led to an impressive fuel saving of 7.7%, but also achieved payback in just 18 months. Furthermore, it helped to reduce CO2 emissions, which is critical for IPCC-regulated sites.
